Glenna is unprecedented in the work she does. I want her to be the tester of my children indefinitely. She is phenomenal. She communicates clearly and explains everything so I can understand.

Multiple friends have recommended S.M.A.R.T. for testing. It was very helpful to understand where my children are currently in their education journey in order to assist me in preparing for their upcoming school year. She was very responsive to questions and worked with me to schedule a time/place that was convenient for our schedule. Both of my children responded well to her. They are both already asking for her to test them again next year. She was able to give me insight into my kids’ weaknesses and strengths. This is our 10th year testing with Glenna of SMART. We have continued test with her and doing the Woodcock Johnson test because Glenna gives us great feedback on how are children are doing with their schoolwork. She’s able to tell us specific areas to work on and what our children are excelling in. She makes our homeschool journey easier with this information. She always allows my children to take breaks as needed and encourages them to try to go further. The information she gives us on each child’s struggles and strengths help us know what needs to be worked on the upcoming school year. We have been very thankful to be able to work with Glenna and SMART over the years she have given us invaluable feedback on how to help our children learn to the best of their abilities.

I chose the Woodcock Johnson because I wanted to have a complete look at how my kids learn and where their weaknesses and strengths are. It has been very helpful to know how to help them where they struggle and what will benefit them where they have a strength. This information helps so much to know how to teach my kids for the following year. She knows kids well so tests in a way that they are comfortable. Glenna is very thorough on the feedback letting me know how they did on their testing and what those results speak to. She also gives helpful tips and curriculum suggestions. Glenna has been extremely thorough and helpful since the first time we tested with her 5 or 6 years ago. She gives individual attention to my kids and her kind, gentle and honest encouragement has helped me guide both my boys through some tumultuous times. So thankful for her expertise. Testing has provided us with great insight at to our children's knowledge levels and learning rates. We found Glenna, our S.M.A.R.T. testing associate, through a homeschool group at our local church. Glenna is the real reason we use S.M.A.R.T. testing as she explains the reports and is familiar with appropriate curriculums and implementation methodologies that aid in the learning process. My children's homeschool journey has been greatly enriched due to Glena and her guidance. I like to get an additional 30 min consultation so we really have time to discuss each child thoroughly. This is the most important part in my opinion as it helps me understand my kids needs. She has valuable input that we lean on through the year. This input has really helped us! This year we are focusing on using Expanded Notation to through the various mathematical operations to better grasp the concepts and learning cursive. She really understands the learning process and I always leave with a few pages of notes to review and support our learning journey. I hope we have the pleasure of testing with her for years to come.

Glenna is amazing. She has tested all 3 of my kids since they were old enough to test. They never worry about test day and look forward to seeing Glenna each year. Even after we moved out of NC, she has still tested my kids. She will make your children feel welcome and comfortable and make the testing day so much easier. I have always used the Woodcock-Johnson and highly recommend it as well.
